WhatsApp software for taxi operators
Service overview • Updated 18 October 2026 • In development
1. The software provider
UNIVERSE LABS LTD, company number NI739102, is developing WhatsApp booking and enquiry software for taxi operators. Our address is 211 Antrim Road, Belfast, BT15 2GW, United Kingdom. Contact support@universe-labs.ai for software support and privacy requests, handled by Brian Bradley.
2. What we are developing
The planned service helps an operator receive customer journey details on WhatsApp, present a journey proposal for review and confirmation, and pass enquiries to the operator's office when human help is needed. Universe Labs provides the software; the taxi operator remains responsible for its transport service and customer booking data.
Belfast City Cabs Ltd, company number NI744446, trading as B Cabs, is the first planned client. For a separately enabled B booking service, Universe Labs would process B's data on B's instructions. The restricted test does not process live B booking records or enable live B Cabs bookings.
3. Current restricted test
The invitation-only test has completed a controlled WhatsApp journey with TEST-labelled replies; automated replies are currently stopped. Later rehearsals create native bookings in a separate Dispatch test database hosted by Supabase and use a local office inbox with a real test staff reply. They do not create production taxi bookings, dispatch vehicles or send staff-group messages. Participant identities and supplied message text can still be personal data. The deterministic journey does not call external AI, download attachments or transcribe voice notes. The recorded route distance was explicitly synthetic, not measured production pricing.
Use of the WhatsApp test is limited to separately approved participants. A separate browser prototype lets reviewers explore a fixed fictional journey without an account: reviewer prototype. It does not run the WhatsApp backend. Development and onboarding review remain in progress.
4. Support and privacy
Contact Brian Bradley at support@universe-labs.ai for app support, privacy questions or deletion requests. This email is not a taxi-booking or emergency contact.
The companion privacy notice and deletion instructions describe the restricted test and app support. They took effect on 15 October 2026 and explain the approved seven-day whole-pilot retirement rule, manual request procedure, supplier processing and known copy limits.
